BIDS FOR 3RD COMMONWEalTH CHAMPIONSHIPS HAVE BEEN CIRCULATED

It is with great pleasure we inform you that the Commonwealth Games Federation (CGF) has awarded
the Commonwealth Association of Mountain and Ultradistance Running (CAMUR) the opportunity to
host the 3rd Commonwealth Mountain and Ultradistance Running Championships.

We have sent a cover letter along with the attached Tender Document to consider
submitting a bid to host the 3rd edition of these championships.

The disciplines of mountain and ultradistance running are making huge strides in the athletics world.
CAMUR recognized this and initiated the Commonwealth Championships. The championships have
enjoyed tremendous success in their first two editions, Keswick, UK (2009) and North Wales, UK (2011).

Furthermore, both championships have been supported by the World Mountain Running Association
(WMRA) and the International Association of Ultrarunners (IAU). The success of these championships
were recognized by the CGF and resulted in awarding the 3rd edition of these competitions.

We would appreciate interested federations looking over the documents and considering a bid. Deadline to apply is 15th
May 2013. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact CAMUR General Secretary, Nigel
Rowe at rowes@blueyonder.co.uk, 6, Southern Terrace, Mutley. Plymouth. Devon PL4 7LS, England.

Sincerely yours,
Nadeem Khan
